Day 19 - Ypres
Today we explored the battlefields surrounding Messines Ridge and Ypres and visited many cemeteries commemorating the thousands of young men who lost their life in this war.
We heard the stories of soldiers that staff and students researched in their Digger Project and reflected on their courageous efforts.

I have such great memories of these places on my MCC trip many years ago. Messines and Ypres .... such special places... my grandfather served at both in WW1. Great work McAuley staff and students.
