Day 21 - Anzac Day

Today we made our way to Villers-Bretonneux for the Dawn Service. Nicholas and Cayla represented McAuley Catholic College ( and the Clarence Valley, NSW and Australia) by laying of a wreath generously sponsored by Grafton Rotary Club.

Students and teachers have had a fabulous time on the 2017 McAuley Catholic College European Tour. Every opportunity to make the most of every day was taken with gusto. It has been the best European trip "ever" with an extremely busy "leader board".  We will all certainly return changed and enlightened from this amazing adventure where there were lots of fast steps and minimal rest.

A special thank you to Professor Mark Bellamy and Professor Matt Lobsey for their exhaustive preparation and rich delivery of a once in a lifetime educational experience incorporating many KLAs - from Histories to Geography, Religious Education, English to Art and a great deal of PE thrown in for good measure - approximately 338 kms traveled on foot over 21 days!!!.

Tomorrow we travel home. Thanks to all who have viewed and commented on this travel blog.

Good bye from the Northern Hemisphere Bloggers.
